Some of my favorite summer memories include enjoying a snowcone on a sunny day from the lake’s snack shack! So of course we had to make a snowcone as our latest novelty surprise ball in celebration of summer being only a few weeks away (!!!) Read on for the scoop!
For those of you who aren’t familiar, a surprise ball is an awesome way to gift a bunch of tiny presents in a fun little package. Unravelling the gift is half the fun since you never know what you’re going to find next!
Materials needed: Crepe papers streamer in different colors, scissor, tiny gifts, washi tape, snow cone cup, striped paper straw, hot glue gun
Step 1: Collect a bunch of tiny gifts to go inside the surprise ball.
Step 2: Start wrapping the largest gift with paper streamers, then continue by adding the smaller ones, make sure you wrap each one completely! Once you have a round shape and all the gifts are inside, take a strip of washi tape and secure the end of the crepe paper.
Step 3: Hot glue the rim of the snow cone cup and attach to the surprise ball.
Step 4: Cut a striped paper straw and hot glue it to the side of the surprise ball. You’re all set!
