We had so much fun making our rainbow balloon hat, we thought it would be awesome to decorate an ENTIRE WALL with balloon rainbows! Perfect for a colorful photo booth backdrop, especially if your party is rainbow themed! Read on to find out how we made it…
Materials needed: 160Q Long balloons (in rainbow colors), mini balloon hand pump, scissors, 1” double-sided Shurtape
Step 1: Cut five pieces of Shurtape 6” long. Arrange them equidistantly along a curve, similar to a sun’s rays, and remove the paper backing.
Step 2: Inflate a blue balloon 18” long, knot both ends, then trim off the leftovers. Attach the blue balloon to the tape, forming an arch.
Step 3: Repeat with a 20” long wintergreen balloon, curving the balloon around the arch as you attach it.
Step 4: Inflate a lime green balloon to full length. Adhere the inflated end of the lime green balloon to the outside of the arch. Once you’ve met the end, twist, trim, and knot to length. Repeat with the remaining colors until you have a full rainbow. Fill the wall with rainbows and you’re all set!
